What to do in Agaete
Agaete offers its visitors a wide range of outdoor activities: discovering new hiking trails, swimming in ocean pools, scuba diving or enjoying the authentic lifestyle of a fisherman's village.
In addition, your team will be able to explore the lush coffee plantations around the area and take a cup of their unique coffee made with the only coffee beans actually grown in Europe.
Nature & Hiking
There are many hiking trails right on your doorstep, such as the San Pedro – Tamadaba path, which is 8.5 kilometers long.
Most of these trails are not difficult and you can discover Gran Canaria's typical vegetation while walking through amazing scenery.
Beaches & Natural Pools
Playa del Puertito is a beautiful beach with calm waters, perfect for a morning swim or spending an afternoon working outdoors.
And don't miss the natural beauty of Agaete's very own ocean pools right on its coastline.
Food & Drinks
As a seaside village, Agaete has a long fishing tradition that is reflected in its cuisine based on fresh fish in its many combinations.
Regional fruits and produce as well as the unique Agaete coffee are available to buy and taste anywhere locally.
How good is the internet in Agaete?
We know that the quality of the internet connection is vital for you and your team. In that regard, 'El Cabo Coliving ' is equipped with fiber optic broadband throughout the entire building, so you won't have any problem making video calls, downloading large files or even watching your favourite show on the streaming platform of your preference. Additional audiovisual equipment, large events space , external monitors or any equipment needed to make the most of your stay can be provided upon demand.
How to get to El Cabo Coliving
From the airport
- By taxi (around € 50, ~45 min)
- 2 Buses + walking. Take the line 'Aeropuerto LP Expres' (Line 60, tickets cost approx. € 3) and get off at San Telmo Bus Station, then take bus no. 103 (tickets are around € 5) to Puerto de las Nieves and walk ~140m to C. Antón Cerezo, 14. Total journey takes around ~2 hours.
- 1 Bus + taxi. Take bus no. 60, 1 or 91 (tickets are around € 3) and get off at San Telmo Station, then get a taxi (around € 35, total journey takes about ~1h30)
From the ferry ”Fred Olsen”
In order to get to ‘El Cabo Coliving & Retreats' from the ferry's arrival pier in Puerto de las Nieves it’s very simple:
- Walking (approximately 8 minutes)
- Taxi... it's so close to the pier no taxi will probably take you!
